Technology at the cutting edge: the future of dentistry today

In the world of medicine, where technology is developing at a rapid pace, dentistry should not be forgotten, nor is it lagging behind. Stomatologia na Podzamczu in Szczecin is an excellent example of this, introducing world-class technology.

State-of-the-art software and hardware

By using state-of-the-art equipment, such as the latest generation of 3D scanners, we can create extremely accurate images of the patient's mouth. These high-resolution images are not only extremely precise, but are also delivered in real time, significantly reducing the time required for diagnosis and treatment planning.

Eliminating the traditional problems

In the past, the fabrication of crowns was fraught with complications. Errors when fitting crowns could lead to discomfort and in some cases even the need for a new treatment. Thanks to modern technology, those days are over. Advanced algorithms analyze the data from the 3D scanner to ensure a perfect fit of the crown on the patient's tooth.

Computer-aided design: almost artistic precision

Our computer-aided design system not only ensures functionality, but also aesthetics. Doctors can choose from a wide range of colors and shades so that the crown perfectly matches the rest of the patient's teeth. In addition, the software enables an exact reproduction of the natural tooth shape so that the new crown looks and behaves like a natural tooth. What does this look like in practice? Digital crowns are milled from a ceramic block using digital machine tools, which ensures a homogeneous and mechanically durable structure without the metal inside a traditional crown. In addition, the digitally milled crown is hand-painted by a master dental technician to give each patient's smile individual features.

An individual approach for every patient

Because we know that every patient is different and has their own needs, we can adapt to every situation with digital crowns. Whether it's closing a single gap or a complex reconstruction, our solutions are tailored to the individual.

Safety and durability: the key to patient satisfaction

When we talk about dental treatments, the two key factors that most patients think about are safety and longevity. Nowadays, patients expect their investment in their oral health to bring long-term benefits without exposing them to any risks.

Choosing the right materials

The digital crowns offered by Stomatologia na Podzamczu in Szczecin are made from the most advanced and durable materials available on the market. These materials, such as zirconium oxide, are not only resistant to breakage and abrasion, but also offer a natural appearance that is indistinguishable from natural teeth.

Safety first

One of Stomatologia na Podzamczu's priorities is to ensure that the solutions offered are 100% safe for patients. Therefore, the digital crowns are designed taking into account the exact anatomy of the patient's mouth, minimizing the risk of complications such as gum irritation or bite problems.

Long-term savings

Although the initial cost of digital crowns is higher than traditional crowns, they are a very cost-effective solution due to their long lifespan and reduced need for future adjustments and repairs. This not only saves patients money in the long run, but also gives them the peace of mind that their investment in their oral health will lead to long-lasting and satisfying results.

Ensuring patient comfort

Modern dentistry strives to minimize patient discomfort. Thanks to digital crown technology, we avoid the unpleasant sensations associated with traditional impression taking. The whole process is less invasive, which translates into greater comfort for the patient and less stress during the visit.

We proudly use the latest technologies while being aware of our tradition and experience in dentistry. Scanning

Scanning is a digital impression. Using a special micro-camera, a digital image of all the teeth is transferred to a computer within minutes, where a virtual image of the patient is created. Scanning is the equivalent of the old impression with silicone paste, which many patients found unpleasant.

Design

The patient's new teeth (veneers, crowns, bridges) are designed on a computer screen in a virtual image of the mouth. With the help of special 3D software, an experienced prosthodontist can design teeth that perfectly match the patient's own teeth in very high magnification.

cerec-milling

Milling

The previously designed teeth are milled using a special milling machine. The image of the new teeth is sent in digital form to the machine, which cuts them out of special ceramic blocks in about a dozen minutes. These blocks with specially selected hardness and color ensure the highest quality and durability of the new teeth. Thanks to the digital precision of the manufacturing process (up to 19 micrometers), the veneers, crowns and bridges fit perfectly in the patient's mouth.

cerec-cementation

Cementation

‍The finished, milled veneer or crown must be cemented onto the patient's tooth. This is done with special composite adhesives which, after hardening (usually with light), bond the ceramic to the tooth to form a single unit. Thanks to the perfect adhesion and the matching of color and shape, the new teeth are indistinguishable from natural teeth and blend harmoniously into the patient's smile.
