Stage I – consultation appointment – PLN 350. During this visit, both dental arches are scanned with a precision digital scanner (PLN 350), alongside photographic images and a panoramic X-ray (so-called OPG) – PLN 195. In some cases, a lateral radiograph of the skull - also called a cephalometric X-ray (ceph) – is also ordered. The documentation collected in this way is used to develop the treatment plan and to make the trays. The cost of the treatment plan is PLN 550.
Stage II – delivery of a set of individual trays (aligners) made of transparent material based on the treatment plan. After fixing the attachments to the teeth, the patient, instructed by the doctor, puts their first trays on the teeth. However, they should be worn for at least 20 hours a day (including at night) to ensure that the intended effects are achieved. The trays are replaced every 10-14 days, depending on the treatment progress (the doctor will clarify this during the follow-up). Each malocclusion is considered individually and requires a different number of trays. The price of a set of trays for one jaw ranges from PLN 6,500 to PLN 13,500. Price for both jaws – PLN 7,500 - 14,500. Prices depend on the severity of the malocclusion and therefore on the number of trays required.
Stage III – once the treatment is complete, the results should be consolidated. This is done by using so-called retainers or special trays, stiffer than the previous ones, worn for at least one month – at a cost of PLN 1,500 per jaw. After this period, a permanent retainer is fitted at a cost of PLN 600 per jaw.
