Tooth restoration is a solution at the intersection of prosthetics and restorative dentistry. It is used when the natural tooth is severely damaged and it is not advisable to restore it with a light-curing material (filling), but is not yet eligible for a crown. An inlay, onlay or overlay is a replacement for the missing part of a tooth, precisely modelled by a dental technician after taking an impression (PREMIUM) or in the CEREC system (DIGITAL), which is bonded to the tooth by the dentist using a special adhesive technique.
In a nutshell, it is a ceramic restoration of the damaged part of a tooth – very durable and very aesthetic!
Properly coloured – it is indistinguishable in the patient's mouth.
This is the last chance before grinding the tooth for a crown!

Tooth crown restoration is a procedure for people who:
have suffered a chipped or broken tooth;
require reinforcement of the tooth crown;
have undergone endodontic treatment (due to caries);
want to take care of the appearance of their teeth and get rid of any bumps and stains.
This procedure is also recommended for people whose diseased or unsightly-looking tooth can no longer be repaired with a traditional 'filling'.
Tooth restoration can be done in several ways. There are many methods that are tailored to the type of cavity. The most popular of these are: composite restoration; ceramic or composite inlay, onlay or overlay; root canal treatment with restoration of the tooth on a fibreglass or titanium post and core.
It is also possible to restore a tooth if its crown has been severely damaged and only the root of the tooth remains. In such a case, treatment consists of two stages. The first is root canal treatment, followed by restoration of the tooth on the post by using a post and core (root-canal post), and placement of a prosthetic crown.

Thanks to the achievements of modern medicine, it is now also possible to restore a tooth with a single wall. As a result, even in case of serious damage to a tooth, it is not always necessary to extract it. This is all thanks to the possibilities offered by modern prosthetics. Dead teeth can also be reconstructed. However, it should be noted that such a tooth, especially after root canal treatment, will be significantly weaker. It is necessary to provide internal reinforcement of the tooth with a post and core or a fibreglass post. However, its restoration is possible thanks to a treatment method carefully tailored to the extent of damage of dental tissues, e.g. with an endocrown.
It is obvious that the smaller the cavity, the quicker and cheaper the restoration will be. For more extensive damage, the treatment method will also need to be adapted. There are also many other factors that influence the final cost of a tooth restoration.
The price of the tooth root restoration procedure depends, among other things, on the severity of the damage and the chosen method of restoration. The treatment process will become longer and more expensive in case of extensive neglect. Added to this is the quantity and quality of the dental material that is used during tooth restoration. More information on the price of the procedure can be found in the Price list tab.
